THE CHARACTER OF THE HOUSE
The past,
to be lived.
A wooden bed, three arches and a centuries-old vault. A gathered intimacy, drawn into the old architecture of the house.

Living in the vault
The Romantica occupies the mezzanine level of the vault that once enclosed the old stable. A work of architecture and engineering created this room while preserving the original look of the structure: the stone becomes a living part of the room without losing its character.
At the centre, among three arches and centuries-old vaults, stands an imposing bed made entirely of wood, with a very tall headboard and footboard. Dating from the 1930s and later, it is dressed in embroidery and lace; the parquet floor accompanies it with a warm surface.

A passage through the heart of the stone
The remains of the vault, left exposed, form a large natural shelf on which a brightly coloured painting of fields in bloom stands out. Through an opening in the vault you reach the anteroom of the bathroom: leaves and flowers in pastel tones, an oval bronze mirror and an Old England-style washbasin set its mood.
In the bathroom the mosaic shower is carved entirely into the old vault. This continuity between architecture and furnishings makes the room intimate and especially suited to a stay for two. A private bathroom, air conditioning, smart monitor, fridge and safe complete the room.
